Perfect for my motocross style helmet (goggles not visor). Seems to hold firm even with the weight of a Gopro on it. I can't imagine it slipping or letting go. I haven't tried it on the street/road/dirt yet, and I suspect that because its not firmly attached to the helmet like some other systems, and because its made of a softish/flexible plastic & not a hard/rigid plastic, it may result in some extra vibrations on the video footage that you may not get with more rigid mounting systems. Hopefully my neck is enough a shock absorber to negate that issue. Nevertheless, I knew that might be an issue before I bought it. It's more convenient that other systems that require a more permanent mount on your helmet - can be removed for your helmet in seconds. For that reason it gets 5 stars, and I would recommend that others try it first - before they look at more permanent mounting options.
