About CamGo drones

CamGo drones for aerial photos and video, from easy-to-fly kids and beginner models to professional drones with GPS return and 360° obstacle avoidance. Choose a drone from the range above, then add spare batteries, propeller blades or a carry case to keep flying.

How to choose a drone

Pick the level that matches who is flying and what you want to shoot.

  • Kids drones (Kids Fun and Kids Pro series): simple one-key takeoff and landing, adjustable cameras and stable hovering, with propeller guards or obstacle avoidance on selected models. A good first drone for young pilots.
  • Beginner all-rounders (X1 and X2): easy to fly, with brushless motors for steadier flight in wind. The X2 adds GPS return home, four-way obstacle avoidance, an 8K camera and a remote with a built-in screen.
  • Professional drones (Y1 and Y2): GPS positioning with automatic return, 360° obstacle avoidance and strong wind resistance. The Y2 adds an 8K main camera and a remote with a built-in HD screen, so you don't need a smartphone.
  • Batteries, propellers and cases: spare batteries extend your flying time, replacement propeller blades get a damaged drone back in the air, and a carry case protects the drone when you travel.

Before you buy, compare camera resolution, whether the remote has a built-in screen or needs a smartphone, and whether the drone has GPS return and obstacle avoidance. Each product page lists what is included in the box and the Product Notes for spare parts, which show the exact drone model they fit.

Drone FAQs

Which drone is best for a beginner?

All of our drones are designed to be easy to start with, using one-key takeoff and landing. The Kids Fun Drone 3 and the X1 suit first-time flyers, and the X2 adds GPS return home and obstacle avoidance if you want extra safety features.

Which drones have GPS return home?

The CamGo X2, Y1 and Y2 use GPS positioning to bring the drone back automatically in situations such as low battery or lost signal.

Do I need a smartphone to fly?

Some models stream live video to a smartphone app. The Kids Fun Drone 3, X2 and Y2 have a built-in screen on the remote, so you can fly without a phone.

Can I buy spare batteries and propellers?

Yes. We stock replacement batteries for the X1, Y1 and Kids Pro Drone, propeller blades for the Kids Fun Drone 2 and Kids Pro Drone, and a carry case for the Kids Fun Drone 2. Check the Product Notes to make sure the part matches your drone.

Do I need a licence to fly a drone in Australia?

Rules depend on the weight of your drone and how you use it. As a general guide, keep your drone in sight, fly below 120 metres, and stay away from people, airports and emergency operations. Check the current rules on the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) website before you fly.
